    Yeah, if you don't have a GCSE grade C in maths, you'd be very limited on which medical schools you could apply to.

    OnTheSocial, my school doesn't do philosophy. What is it mainly about. Is it similar to theology.

    It's similar, theology is a minor facet of philosophy as a whole.
    It's all about the nature of reality, knowledge, logic and ethics

    No probs. With regards the matematical content of Physics, its pretty washy - theres not that much at all really. As long as you're ok with re-arranging formula & grasp the vague idea of what the formula/maths imply with regards whats going on (proportionality etc) then you should be reasonably alright. But yes, unless you get at the VERY least a C in GCSE maths, you can wave goodbye to medicine even if you get straight A's at A-level.

    Yep defo, do you do higher or intermediate maths?

    If you do intermediate, you might want to give higher a try this time because you only need to average like 30/100 from each paper for a B. Its like 18/100 for a C. You might find it easier, just a thought.

    Well I suppose there is a gap. But the grade boundaries are lower in higher. Like the same amount of marks for a C on intermediate would be worth an A on higher.
    Higher
    C = 18/100
    B = 32/100 VERY ROUGHLY
    A = 60/100
    A* = 78/100

    Whereas in intermediate you need say 50 marks for a C.

    But obviously it is more diffcult.
