In a bit of a pickle
Hey guys,
This is my first post, so I will try to keep it to the point.
I recently got my AS results and I got 2 Bs, 2 Cs and a D. I have dropped 2 and I am going to carry on with chem, bio and physics in which I got a B,B,C respectively.
I will have to do some resits in my A2 year and push all of them upto 3As. Now the problem is, if I am resitting a module in a subject do I still have to put the grade down on the UCAS app?

Hey NV05,
Thanx for the reply, just to clarify, are you sure that that is the case this year, or was that the case for you when you applied?
I guess what I am trying to say is that are you sure that only the predicted grades go on this year, and no new rules have come into play forcing you to put your grades down even if you are ressitting?

errr that kinda depends on yr school i think?? Depends whether yr grades are certified at this stage (in which case yes yr as grades will go down on yr ucas) or not (which means only the predicted grades will be found out by the unis). But talk to yr careers department.
Now a fourth year at BSMS...oh god I feel old!

i got the same grades as you...except, unfortunatey the d was in chemistry...although, it was without revising (i was soo lazy) - paying for it now i guess
this year as soon as you submit your ucas application, your as grades go straight to the universities without you having to put down your grades. Basically on your ucas you could put down your grades are pending if you're planning on retaking them, but the original ones will go to the universities anyway...but they will know if you're going to retake the as's
grr...lame new rule just had to come into force the year i apply
