Hello,
With exam results out tomorrow I thought I should get this out to you all as promised. If this email has been forwarded to you then please see the note at the bottom of this email.

Below are the responses which I got when enquiring about medical schools entering Clearing. Another email will be sent out tomarrow when I will have a complete list of all medical schools.

For full contact details of all medical schools and universities, please see the medical school pages.

All medical schools were contacted by phone

Aberdeen Medical School > Will not enter clearing this year

Bart’s Medical School > Don’t expect to be entering clearing, will ring at 9am to confirm.

Belfast Medical School > no response
Bristol Medical School > Office closed, will reopen 8.30am. Been contacted by them though and they will not be entering clearing this year.
Brighton and Sussex Medical School > will not enter clearing
Bute Medical School St Andrews > will not enter clearing this year
Cambridge Medical School > First guy I spoke to had never heard of clearing! Second lady said we don’t do clearing.
Cardiff Medical School > They don’t enter clearing – at all.
Dundee Medical School > Medicine won’t be in clearing this year
Durham Medical School > Will not enter clearing
University of East Anglia Medical School > no response
Edinburgh Medical School > does not participate in clearing and all places have been allocated.
Glasgow Medical School > ‘We don’t take part in clearing.’
GKT Medical School > Office closed, will reopen tomorrow
Hull Medical School > ‘We already have our results, and all the places have been allocated.’3
Imperial Medical School > will not enter clearing
Keele Medical School > ‘Maybee….’ – ring back tomorrow
Leeds Medical School > info not available – ring again tomorrow after 9am
Leicester Medical School > will not enter clearing
Lancaster Medical School > no places available for entry this year
Liverpool Medical School > will not be entering clearing
Manchester Medical School > will not be entering clearing
Newcastle Medical School > will not be entering clearing
Nottingham and Derby Medical School > will not be entering clearing
Peninsula Medical School > will not be entering clearing for UK students but they are interested in hearing from overseas applicants
Royal Free and University College Medical School > will not be entering clearing
Sheffield Medical School > will not be entering clearing
Southampton Medical School > will not be entering clearing
St George's, University of London > will not be entering clearing
Swansea Medical School > don’t operate a clearing system (graduate entry only). No places for 2007 entry though.
Warwick Medical School > all places have been allocated (graduate entry only.)
It doesn’t seem like there will be any schools entering for clearing. We will ring around again tomorrow to check with the schools which were unable to give us a definite answer.
Please note the information above is only for the medicine course and may change. Please do your own research before following any advice by MedApp or anybody else.
