AS biology exams there kind of weird :S
I think A level exam is weird how do i improve i am not at all a logical person, most of A levels exam in biology and chemistry are about being logical like atleast 50% when i did a mock paper, all the stuff that i revised i had got good marks, in and got them all correct I have a very good memory in remebering things, but the other 50% is about being logical, :'( and im so dumb at that like a question as: why was a control set up?. I mean that is so easy but i have not the faintest idea, how do i improve on it? and be more logical??

If you have a good memory I suggest really looking at the mark schemes and revising the kinds of things they're looking for. I know it's different for every question, but I was the same with ecology (like how do you sample a field) and I couldn't do it... so I looked at the mark schemes and improved.

Can't agree more.. I'm studying without tutor support and a big part of my study is just memorising mark schemes.

I'm doing Edexcel Bio A-level in one year and so my teachers use a LOT of past papers to teach us. The one thing I find most difficult in bio papers is knowing what question they want you to answer; some of the questions don't even make sense and so you've got to guess at what is actually being asked. I really hate bio exam papers.
Don't just try and learn stuff if you don't understand it. It's fatal. If you can work it out and understand it then maybe you'll be better able to 'work out' the answer in an exam question.
At least Chem is straightforward..I left my heart in Papworth General..
