    !!!!Desperate help needed!!!!!

could someone interpret this for me! (its from queen marys)

    GCSEs
We would expect applicants to offer a wide range of subjects with at least six at grade A or B. English Language, Mathematics and science subjects are all required at grade B.

    however on ucas it says:
    GCSE/Standard Grade

Subjects and grades required Grade B in Mathematics, English and Sciences

It means you have to have got a B in GCSE English (English Language-same thing), Maths and Science. And you need to have got at least 6 A/B grades at GCSE. (Unless you have extenuating circumstances).

It may be worth contacting admissions to find out what they would consider - no point wasting an application if they won't let you over the GCSE hurdle. Perhaps if you've got a good reason for not having done as well as expected... Or fantastic predicted grades? Good luck anyway!
