A Level results day

My college is duff and the teachers are leaving, so just to clarify, when is A level results day??

Aye, tis 17th. A level results are always the 3rd Thur in Aug, GCSEs the 4th!!!

I assume it will be 10 o'clock ish as usual. But we can check UCAS that morning to see if we're in or not. (which is very scary....)

Argh, results are too scary! Last year we could get ours at 9; this year we have to wait till 10 its not fair. I thought the universities got them a few days before? I wanna ring them up and ask!

yeah, they get them a week before us, so they can decide which of the people who have missed their grades they're going to admit and which they're not. Plus it helps the accomm people get things sorted too.

We tend to be told to come for 10 and then recieve results at about mid-day because people are slow and incompetant. I shall be checking UCAS in the morning to take the edge off. I think it's something about being rural that makes us slow. What I should do is try to get us on the news. Those kids always get results really early in the morning....

I wouldn't count on it- last year that was supposed to happen but it crashed and then no one's updated.

oh yea and colleges get results a day before! i hate how everyone else seems to know your fate but you!!
