my new site

hey

i've created a site with google http://www.medicineapplications.co.uk/

reasons why i created it are outlined on the site, but in a nutshell i want to provide info on applying to university, ucas, interviews etc. as a student at college i found it frustrating trying to find all the info.

basically i need your opinions - do i carry on or should i just kill it...

i have only published a tiny bit of the site yet but if you like it il finish it off...

also there are loads of spelling mistakes etc but all these will be sorted by september if you like it

please leave honest feedback!!!

I think it's a great idea!
U could do with some example interview questions, maybe info about entrance exams (UKCAT, etc) and a bit more factual info since a lot of it is your opinions, but definitely worth sticking with!

dude, methinks the website is brilliant!
but i agree with helen21...it is mainly ur opinion, which although is valid, would be better if it was more factual

It's a great idea. Personally I think this whole application stuff is a little like a minefield.

Yeah it's a really good idea. I'm now in the same position as I guess you were in last year - 4 rejections. It's always good to hear that trying again is a valid option. Can I ask what you did on your gap year and where your offers are from? Thankyou!

defo, if you get 4 rejections, then my school told me you can more or less be sure of a place next year IF YOU GET 3A'S AT A LEVEL IN THE MAIN SUBJECTS.... SO KEEP STUDYING. going liverpool now.

agree with whoever up there said i should make it more factual.

you don't NEED 3 As if you reapply in a gap year. Only if you resit.

i didn't say you NEEDED 3A'S. but people when i asked a college they said that all the student's who gained 3 a's to their knowlege gpt a place or chose to study something else eventually. whereas they knew pupils with 2a's and b who were unsucessful 2nd time round.

i added some facts to the site. the dress for interviews might be a little interesting - managed to get some contact with a tutor at cambridge.

amen to that! i agree with Adam. at least if u have 3A's u have more of a backup. i got my 3A's. and although my application got improved greatly as well, i think it was defo a key part to my application.
