In our year some heard back quickly some heard back months after. Extra wait doesn't mean anything bad necessarily. Don't worry peeps. Congrats all that have heard so soon.

I had my interview mid January - I was going to defer it, but I'm glad I did go on the day I did. But really happy for everyone else who got in and best of luck to everyone else - but yes, i know the feeling of uncertainty sucks, but just ride it out for now.

Yeah I got an email saying track had been updated, but I've been on and off UCAS like anything these past few days! Good luck to all those still waiting!

Oh all the waiting I remember this well - tearing your hair out and wondering if you have got in and trying to predict the process admissions go through to give out the offers. The thing is there is no way to know and in the end we all tortured ourselves with the unknown. I was also put on the GEP reserve list last year but secured a place on the 5 year course on the 5 April instead - plenty of time to hear yet. People got GEP offers right up until April. Hope you all hear real soon. Best of luck!!
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right.. Forget about the one's who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it!!

They certainly are! if im on the reserve list again i think i might cry!lol! it wasnt so bad last time my interview was at the end of january so the wait wasnt as long, but this time its never ending. ive booked a holiday for the first week in april so im ticking the days down till then cos then hopefully the wait will be over.
Im sure your interview wasnt that bad uve just had plenty of time to think and pull the interview apart now n thought bout how u could have answered things differently, i know i did last year. Mine was certainly more challenging than last year, it was all questions about the nhs and role of dr ect, it was hard but i dont think i could have answered anything any differently so what will be will be i suppose im trying to have a postive attitude but thats rapidly failing leaving me with this horrible pit of the stomach feeling, grr! im beginning to wish i hadnt wanted to be a dr so much but the more i continue to work in a hospital i know thats wat i want 2 do! im sure tho it will be good news for the both of us, they put us on the reserve list last year and interviewed us again this year so there must be something about us they liked!

Does anyone know how many places on the leicester GEP course? I have had three rejections in two days from all other choices (soton 4 year, 5 year and brighton - no interviews) - Leicester is my last chance
But was also my first choice. This wait is unbearable!

It says on Leicester University website that they had 568 applications for the 4 year course. I'm not sure how many offers they send out but there are 64 places! Good luck! My offer from Leicester was the only one I got (I got rejected from Sheffield, Manchester and Hull/York)!

Last year they offered so many places and waited for acceptances/declines before they sent out another batch of offers. They told me they did not offer over 64 offers...but they did have a reserve list so if they had more people decline than they expected they offered the remainder of the places to the reserves. There definately will be another batch of offers to come...
Some of my fave quotes I feel are appropriate for the time!
"“The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.”
“The keys to patience are acceptance and faith. Accept things as they are, and look realistically at the world around you. Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen.”

Well done you guys!
I have my interview on Tuesday so you are all 20 steps ahead of me!
I know this is cheeky but do any of you have any tips? I've got no clue what they're going to ask and
just wonderd if you could give me some ideas?
Thanks

I know it was naughty and time-wasting and I shouldn't have.... but I called up the GEP admissions office! They said we should hear at the end of March, they haven't given out all the offers yet and are still interviewing. Thanks everyone for your reassuring words, and seriously well done to those who have offers.
