The sign up sheet for student tours is up on the board and starts in the next two weeks, but don't worry, they go on until the end of March so you have loads of time to get an interview.
I say later is better because I had mine in November last year, and they don't tell anyone until all of the interviews are over whether you got in or not.First year Medic at Leicester

I have an interview on 24th November...i am very nervous!
Its not very long to prepare :/
Do you really have to wait until all interviews are finished before offers are given out?Medicine 2010'

First of all, well done... Annoyingly, I'm yet to hear from leicester. Yup they said to me that no offers will be given until the end of interviews. Its quite a weird way of doing it IMO.

Thank you
I was rather suprised to receive the letter from them today - it's the first i have heard from them so i wouldn't worry too much. Theres pleanty of time to get an interview
at least you have longer to prepare and less time to wait to see if you have an offer.
I really hope i don't mess this interview up! :/Medicine 2010'

Not very long? Try having two days notice from Durham!! =P
...It's Wednesday, phone rings "we'd like to offer you an interview... How's Friday?"
(Scratches head, surely they must mean at least a week Friday)
"Umm, sure..."
"Great, we'll see you in two days time then."
I was gobsmacked lol
Congratulations on getting an interview too! Hopefully I'll be offered one in the coming weeks!Last edited by magpie7; 13-11-2009 at 11:20 PM.

I got an interview for Leicester on the 27th. I'm guessing it's formal but what do you think should be worn. Would jeans and jacket do or is it more/less formal?
