More formal. You really need a matching 2 piece suit, shirt, and a tie, minimum. At my Leicester one last year pretty much everyone was in a suit, except for a couple of guys wearing jeans but they might not have been interviewees (and at any rate I haven't seen either of them this year)...

Why would anyone wear jeans to an interview???! Can you not be bothered to dress smartly? Do you not think it's a common courtesy to make an effort?

i only just found out the other day aswell, plans pretty much the same from me, just wish I had the chance to have a mock interview :s
I'm from Carlisle, so 5 hour train journey for me lol

Just got a letter today interview on the 3rd of december..time for my dad to fork out some money for a new suit for me :P. Also a bunch of my other friends got interviews as well. Do you know how many they roughly interview?

Definately no jeans, everyone on my interview day was dressed formally, its the first impression they get of you so its important to give the right one, as future doctors, you're going to have to dress smartly all the time so best make it an early habit now
