to answer your 1st question - not sure.
to answer your 2nd question - "honours is awarded if you get distinction in clinical and written exams in finals regardless of your performance in phase1/2.
alternatively, you have to reach a certian number of points based on phase 1, IPE , SSCs (points change every year)." (this was mentioned in a previous post in this thread)

Trust me, you won't care about distinctions when you do the OSCEs ... you will just be glad to get out of there alive and breathing.
