Typical day - Year 1

I was jus wondering if someone could tell me whata 'typical' day would be lyk in year 1 medicine at leicester. I appreciate that every day is different but in general could you tell me please.

A typical day on the 5 year course:

- Wake up at 7, shower, breakfast
- Bus at 8.15 from Oadby halls
- Lecture at 9-10
- Group work 10.15-11.30 (either working on questions, in the histology room, in the dissection room)
- Lecture 12-1

On some afternoons, there are additional sessions.

Any more questions I will be happy to answer, though I am only 2 months into the course atm!

I miss Phase One!

That's pretty much it for the first year - in the second year, you do exactly the same but in the afternoons. I'm not sure what the structure is now, but after Christmas in the first year, we had Thursdays off completely. It was lovely.

hey, ive got a interview coming up for Leicester and i would really appreciate it if anyone could give any advice?! any current medics- what do you like about the course, what don't you like about the course?
