I know it's scored out of 20 (5 for grades, 5 for UKCAT...I'm assuming the rest are for work experience/personal statement) and you need 16/20 to secure an interview.
I only know how they mark the UKCAT as it's on the website
All scores >700 = 5
All scores >600 = 4
All scores >500 = 3
All scores >400 = 2
All others = 1

5 for grades, 5 for UKCAT, 5 for PS and 5 for your reference.

I seem to remember (from a v.old thread somewhere) something like:
5 pts = A-level:AAA GCSE: mostly A/A*
4 pts = A-level:AAA GCSE: mostly B/C/D...
3 pts = A-level:AAB GCSE: mostly A/A*
2 pts = A-level:AAB GCSE: mostly B/C/D...
I don't think they give out 1 pt as it would mean you have v.little chance of getting 16/20 overall...
So Moe - I think you'd get 4 pts

AAA predicted, plus 3 A* gets you 5 for grades last year. How they score your PS and reference beats me though.

Probably a 'tally-up' system for your PS and referance, bit like a normal job application. Get points for positives like showing a good character, personal traits, commitments, experience, and minuses for appearing like a psycho.

Like a psycho?
I don't think you can rate your own PS/Ref as nearly EVERYONE has work exp/shows they're committed/loves science/does voluntary stuff...I suppose the best thing to do would be to go with the flow...so if you get an interview great, if not then ask for feedback...
I wish I could take my own advice..."go with the flow"...bah! PANIC ALL THE WAYYYY!!!

So means I got a 5 for grades, a 4 for UKCAT. That's nine (see, I'm good at maths, me). So my PS and reference were a minimum of 4/3.
It's awesome that I got a 5 for grades despite my AS's being a poor ABBBCD.
