It is, I was surprised actually because I sent my UCAS form off on the 14th.

Then again, my surname does begin with A...

If you don't mind, how did you do for your ukcat and GCSEs?

I got 685 in my UKCAT:
VR-700, QR-690, AR-690, DA-660
It went way better than I was expecting! Even though I literally blind guessed most of QR because I ran out of time, and was lust randomly clicking through without even looking at the questions. Got stuck on a stupid one about taxes that I should have just skipped straight away.

GCSE's:
A*'s in Double Science, Geography and English Lit (random mix there, I know)
A's in Maths, German, English language, PE and RE
B's in Art, Economics and Citizenship (hah).
And I think that was 7th highest in my year group. The top ten got special certificates ()

My AS's were lower than I would have liked. Got ABBBCD in maths, biology, chemistry, general studies, physics and firther maths respectively. But the biology and chemistry were 2 and 3 UMS points off an A respectively, and I'm retaking one of my Further Maths modules to hopefully get a B overall (as I got BBU!)

Congrats for getting an interview Xylophonefairy!

Seems like Leics are either going in alphabetical order/later applications to earlier applications/some other random order.

Leicester have just posted this on their website under admissions news

Latest News

UCAS applications for the A100 and A101 MBChB courses are currently being processed and interview letters will be despatched, randomly, from Monday 10 November 2008.

Due to the high number of applications, this will be an ongoing process from now until March 2009, therefore, you should NOT contact the School Office for a progress report on your application.

If you have not received any correspondence regarding your application by the first week of March 2009, please email med-admis@le.ac.uk.”
