I've done a lot of research in to what uni's requirements are and which uni I should apply to according to my grades etc. To be honest just look at all the uni's that do medicine and look for the requirements. I honestly myself feel like there isn't anyhope but i'm going to give it a go. Hopefully i'l achieve 3 As and B for my Alevels. Good luck.

Thank you very much for your email of 19 August 2008, apologies for the time taken to reply.

The four categories that we assess are academic ability, UKCAT, Personal Statement and reference. Each is scored out of five.

Academic ability is based on a combination of GCSEs and A Level grades or predicted grades. Predicted grades of ABB would score 2/5.

UKCAT is graded as follows:
All scores over 700 = 5
All scores over 600 = 4
All scores over 500 = 3
All scores over 400 = 2
All other scores = 1

The personal statement and reference are read and scored by experienced staff.

We anticipate that the threshold or interview will be 16/20 for 2009.

Yours sincerely,

Dr K P West

This is what leicester sent me when i emailed them.

I'm in the same position... and its different from what they told us at the open day in which they said 80% for 5/5
