So I shouldnt be assuming just yet that I have been rejected because I havent received an interview invite?
Also, does anyone know whether you are more likely to be interviewed later in the cycle (i.e. Jan/Feb) if you submitted your ucas form close to the deadline? Perhaps those with interviews already can help me out here!
Sorry, I know all this sounds highly panicked - I really am doing my best to stay calm and concentrate on other things, but its really hard when you want something so badly
cheers all

Hey guys ,
Any one got an interview on the 9th of dec????
PS
If I dont answer one or two of the interview questions, does that mean Im busted .In other words are we actually meant to know about every thing they ask. And to what extent do we need to know about current affairs ie. do we have to know everything about bird flu and the NHS ????االلهم اني عبدك و ابن عبدك ابن امتك

او علمته احدا من خلقك..او استاثرت به في علم الغيب عندك

How hard is it to get an interview at leicester ???? I heard almost 90% of the applicants get an interview, is this true by any chance???

with regards to current affairs i just read stuff off bbc.co.uk on current health related news. i dont think theres much need to goto bmj etc etc....but some people did (not me). on the day of the interview remember to buy a newspaper....there might be a front page health related headline!
they mmight ask you about other jobs within the nhs.....for instance, if you stated in you personal statement that you shadowed a GP then they may ask you "what other people work in general practice?" (they asked me this).
hope this helps,
good luck

Thanks for clearing up the rumour about application processing/interview timing! I guess it really isnt worth worrying about. Does Leicester send out rejection letters or do you just assume that come March, or whenever the interview season is over, that you were unsuccessful after not hearing anything?
