Anyone had any success with the waiting list?

Hi guys.

I'm just wondering if those people who received no offer after interview and were placed on the waiting list have had any joy. I know it's probably doubtful as leeds made 600 offers and I'm sure the places were all taken. It seems to be quite a popular uni. I know that liverpool and sheffield have not activated their reserve lists so i reckon leeds have not either.

Leeds are over subscribed by 20 this year.

This means they will be asking people to defer for a year.

Hmn...it's always a hit and miss when they're deciding to give out offers. I wonder if anyone will actually agree to defer a year?
There were 200 people on this waiting list. A lot of disappointed people.....me included :cry:
