help!!

Hi guys,

I am an A/Level student, doing Chemistry, Biology, Art and Arabic.
I got an A in chemistry in Jan exams, and a B in biology. 8)

Because my GCSE grades were really bad, I was wondering if anyone can tell me whether medical schools look at them or not.
I missed half of my GCSE’s (yr10) so I had to do all of them in 1 year, and I got these grades: 1B 5C’s and 1E!!!

I know they are bad, but would it be a major problem to med schools? Even if I got A’s in my A/levels Like I did in Jan?
I would appreciate it if you can tell me your opinions and personal experience. :!:

Thank you very much.. :P

Emi…

Ask your school or college to write to the medical schools you are interested in applying to. If they explain that you got these GCSE grades due to missing a lot of work, and the circumstances surrounding this, then the medical school should be able to say if they will consider you.

My college did this for me so that I didn't waste an application on a university that wouldn't consider me.

You really do need to get the information direct from the med school.
