i no sum1 hu attends uni wid her mother nd they r on the same course i jus dnt wouldnt no how 2 educate myself in this situation i think its better off if she doesnt cum wid u cos uni life is prob the bst time u will hav ever . u can spend tym wid ur mum in other ways bt does she wanna do medicine wid u?

You can say that but the only person who has said that it's a good idea is a religious fundamentalist (from other threads, don't bother to contest...I'm right) and the OP themselves has mentioned culture more than once.

The whole point that lots of us are trying to put across is that you have to break out of this culture trap and go it alone. Hence, it's all to do with culture.

yeah i guess ur right Arch Angel after reading ur post i think ppl do hav 2 cum out of it bt i didnt reli agree at al on bringin mums along 2 the uni. i jus personally think tht uni life is sumthing thts gr8 2 experience nd its bout urself.
