Oh dear... Mum with you at uni? Depends if you want her there...
But honestly, don't do it!
Uni is where you learn to grow independent, not continue to be dependent on someone else. ie your parents....

:/

i just read the whole thread too
although i skipped through the last couple pages cause it was like 3 ppl talking to each other about text speak or something

anyway that is really strange aspirations
i guess just maybe because of the cultural divide? where do u live if u don't mind me asking?

im glad though, that u came to that decision because
it's all just...really strange

if someone ever did that here (canada) well...just really, really strange

anyway i'm happy for u good luck on ur course and ask ur mom to visit as often as she can.

if moms/dads did come to uni with their sons and daughters the uni would need like a parent day care lol

No, it's unheard of here too.

To do so would cause people to think you were very strange indeed.

Can you all please stop having a go at this person?
Who cares whether it's considered strange? I'd even dispute that. I know a girl whose Mum moved in with her (from overseas), and noone around considers it strange (I never even thought about it); furthermore, she seems happy, has plenty of friends, and enjoys her studies and her social life. What's the problem? It's a free world...

that would be a bit wierd for others.
