Ha, just make sure you get them the right way round when talking about that

Also, text speak is one sure fire way of having people read the first 3 words then moving on to the next post. Regarding evolution, until a "text speak" gene (Txt1) evolves and drifts to fixation in the population text speak will remain ever unpopular and the folly of fools.

I don't mean replacing the odd word with another, or speaking characteristically, I mean full on:

"ROFL, dat, wel funi, lulz, i feld of mi char!!!!111"

Surely it takes longer to actually work out how to speak like this than simply just saying it, no?

Anyway, back to revision.....

T9 on mobiles ftw!

And before anyone says it, acronyms now and then ain't so bad.

Textspeak is the love child of Bush Snr who wishes to suppress questioning minds by simplifying the language so he can go on and dance the fandango in countries which are not yet 'democratised'.

Possibly...

I watched a movie recently - "the story of Brooke Ellison" - look her up. It turns out she really needed her mum and took her to Havard, although that was entirely different since she was paralysed.

Mums can be good company, but if you are not disabled or anything maybe it's not such a great idea. Tell mum to stay at home and make some friends, so you can make new friends at Uni too. So you don't dance etc, that's ok, neither do I and I'm not asian or religious I just don't have time to BUT I do go to othet events at Uni and this may be hard if you're always with your mum.

If she wants to go to Uni, she can apply for her own course and enjoy the experience and better if she's lonely and single she might meet someone.
I do hope you are joking though

We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine

I have that on my iPod, although I can't see what it has to do with this thread I heartily endorse the sentiment.

Surely it should be:

You can dance if you want to
Just leave your mum behind
Cos your friends will moan
with your mum in their home
They'll say "you ain't no friend o' mine"
