Hi pavlova! Are you firming your offer from leeds? Where else did you apply to? I sort of ruled out Leeds already, since i've got my other two choices' offer..is there anything special with Leeds that drawn you towards it?

Hey Guys,
I received an international acceptance as well. That was a total surprise because I didn't receive any indication from Leeds that they had even received my application. I thought my application had never gone through...and they never answered my emails ...so I gave up on them. However, the fees seem pretty high..so I'm still deciding if I'll take the offer. From what I've read, the fees are 23500 pounds per year! That's pretty crazy. ![]() Zuck |

TO newbie_medic, three applied to Leeds in my College last year(including me)and all of us got the offer too!(and i'm from Malaysia, just like you!)Which College are you from, by the way?
Zuckman, the tuition fee for pre-clinical years is about 13k pounds(per year) and it will only go up to 23k pounds from third year onwards(clinical years, yearly). Certain Medical schools such as Imperial will charge 33k pounds for clinical years(, yes, it's insane). Pavlova, did you get your offer from GKT and manchester? My friend got rejected by Manchester after being put on the waiting list. Why do you love Leeds so much? I personally never really like it..and there was a bad discussion between a senior and I in this forum last year(gave me a really bad impression)..i'd choose Nottingham over Leeds, anytime. Nottingham offers BMedSci which is not available anywhere in the UK, that's why i'm torn between Notts and Bristol despite the fact that Bristol is more prestigious.
