I wouldn't want to mislead you into thinking that the work sessions don't come up, because some parts did come up. However, I felt that the main focus was on the lecture slides (maybe wait for a second opinion on this?).

It's frightening, not only can I not remember what sort of stuff came up.... (knee jerk reaction and the pathways involved maybe?) but I feel like I can't remember most of what I learned in BMS1... I seem to remember there was a weird diagram of a muscle that no-one had ever seen before in the exam that then appeared in a lecture a week later. Oh... hang on.... something's coming back to me.... the synaptic cleft. What happens at the synaptic cleft....

Dont worry Brian: Its just a sign of things to come. As soon as you stop using it, it all just flows from your brain like your skull is a sieve. I dont even remember doing BMS1 (or BMS2 for that matter).

Shame i didnt cu at the tutor meal by the way. I was stuck in traffic on the way back from Harrogate - goddamit.

The practice questions on bodington were easy actually. You can't go wrong with the equations. If your careful you can quite easily score full marks on the numerical equations. The frog sciatic nerve is a bit of pain but if u look over it a few times you will come to grips with it. Don't worry and best of luck for monday S.

I can't remember much from anything. But at least medical school has prepared me for reflection, realising my limitations and prepared me for life-long learning (so I can look up that random stuff they taught us when I need it (if ever))!

We were "cordially invited" to resit the integrated formative if we failed it last year. If you do fail it, then I would recommend that you do resit it, because if you do fail it then it's very likely that you will fail the BMS section of the integrated summative. You won't really have time to 'come back to it', like I thought I would. I failed the formative, scraped a pass on the resit and then failed the BMS part of the integrated summative at the end of year 1. But because I did well in the other parts of the integrated summative it pulled my marks up.
