Leeds interview feedbaCK

Just got back from my leeds interview think it went well. Here is a list of some of the questions:

Why do you want to be a doctor?
Why Leeds?
What work experience have you done?
What did you learn from it?
What responsibilities do doctors have?
If you were the health secretary where would you invest money?
What problems do the elderly suffer from?
What are the differences in health care between england and a thrid world country?
What qualities should a good doc have?

And then stuff about my p.s

Hope this helps!

I had my interview yesterday on the 15th aswell. I was incredibly nervous but I pulled through. Here's what they asked me:

1) Why medicine?

2) Why Leeds?

3) What positions of responsibility have you had and what have you
learned from this?

4) Disadvantages of being a doc?

5) Who is a doctor resposible for? And how?

6) What have you done to find out what medicine is about?

7) Have any doctors tried to put you off medicine?

8) Hobbies?

They particularly liked the 'responsibility' questions. Also, I they were looking for quite detailed answers so elabotrate people!
I thought the university had a really nice feel about it and would love to go there - if I get an offer. My interview was at 10.35 and got there about 10. The Don: I might have seen you there.

Hey NadeemCrowe, I know loads of people who haven't heard from Leeds. With the information they sent me, they said they'll be interviewing till mid-March, so you've got loads of time to get called!

My interview room was W1. I was sat on the right hand side of the room near to where the refreshments were. I was able to see everyone that came out of their interviews and most of them had a smile on their face! Unfortunately I didn't stay for the tour. What was it like?

X isn't ominous at all! The small group teaching rooms are on that floor and are alphabetically numbered.

Make sure you sample the buffet lunch - it's really good.

Good luck
