does any1 know of any1 who has previously got a place to do medicine through clearing at leeds or anywhere else for that matter?

I know of a few people in previous years that got into Medicine through clearing (2003 entry) at other universities (not Leeds). However, nobody i know got into Medicine through clearing for 2004 or 2005 entry. As far as I am aware (not 100% sure about this), most universities do not accept anyone through clearing for Medicine nowadays.

the last person i know to get into leeds through clearing did so in 1995. today its unrealistic to expect clearing spaces anywhere.

Its really rare to get into clearing these days. I know people who have for my year but its a balance between did you get any interviews, was the interview borderline, did the uni under offer. Chances are there will be no luck through clearing. The best thing you can do now is to plan out your gap year, make your personal statement irresistable and reapply. Best of luck. x
