Hey Rachipoo -don't worry you're not alone -I have an interview on the 17th as well. I think we're in the first batch (they only do one date before xmas) so no one will be able to tell us what the interviews are like this year! Are there any Leeds Med students out there who can give us any hints?
Btw -for anyone travelling a long distance for a Leeds interview: I've heard that you have to be careful with the trains to Leeds -loads of people missed their interviews for other subjects last week cos the delays were so bad & they're really strict about what time you travel -a group of us got chucked off the train cos one person didn't have the right ticket when we went to the open day... so beware...!

Anyway, good luck Rach & maybe I'll see you on Wednesday...

I don't know if the interview style has changed since last year, but I doubt it. They're quite straightforward and friendly. I was interviewed by two consultants - one paediatrician, one anaesthetist - and a med student. The interviewers had read my ps and referred to it.

Good luck to everyone with an interview.

How can a group get chucked of a train because 1 did not have the correct ticket. You should have complained to the stationmaster an demaned a full refubnd and appology. I would have also complained to the inter-city group services manager and the director of the rail firm. That railway guard should be told that he cannot do such things.
