    Lightbulb Interview Help

Just wondering if anyone to have an interview at Keele would want some help! I've had some messages lately about it so I thought I'd make it public.

Uhm it was mostly about my personal statement. So I think I managed to talk about how things I did contributed to doing a medical degree (leadership, time management skills etc)

The ethical question was specifically non-medical that was planned on their behalf, I was given a situation and I was asked about the issues and people involved. I think mine was about a 14 year old girl missing school so i delved into bullying, teen pregnancy and home caring. Most of those I didn't come up with myself, they prompted me and I still got accepted so it's not that bad!

They also asked the good old "Why medicine", make sure you have a good answer that you're able to express well to set you aside from the other candidates. Something a bit more original than "I want to help people" would go down well!

I think that's about it really, it was mainly focussed on me and what I did extracurricular-wise. I did have mine in November though so it may be different at this time, it could be different this year too so please don't hold me to anything i say!

Good luck with the interview and I hope you get in! Keele is a fantastic Uni and the medical course is amazing!
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

Lol... They actually asked me nothing about my personal statement. NOTHING! Infact they did ask me what my hobbies were...? Which begs me to wonder whether they even read it not that I am complaining; they have better things to do with their lives I'm sure
