    Odds after interview?

Does anyone know how many offers Keele make? The website says they interview the top 400 so I was wondering what the chances are if you've got that far?

oh right cool good luck to you - dont take that as gospel it was just a guesstimate because everyone doesnt take up their offer so they make more offers than places, i know they have about 130 places though

Hi guys, I had my interview on 13th of Dec at Keele. After that i phoned the admissions tutors to find out the specifics of the interview process. They basically decide there and then, if they like you or not, and make a decision if offer should be given to candidate. This year they will interview 400 and make 260 offers, last year they interviewed 500 and made 262 offers (if i recall correctly). They said that they interview too many candidates last year, thus this year they decided to interview only 400. As every student applies to four medical schools, not everyone will accept an offer if they have more than one offer for medicine. Therefore, every medical school counteract this problem by given approx 2- 2.5 x (times) the availiable places (rough estimate). Example, keele have 130 places and last year made 260 offers. However, Hull york med school have same number of places (130) but give 340 offers (11 places reserved for international students). it just depends on the med school, how popular they are or not. But thats how it all roughly works. Hope that helps. By the way good luck with your interview imanbansal. Let me know if i can help in any way.
