New freshers

Hi,

I was wondering how prepared you all are for sept. Its only about 3 weeks left and I havent really bought anything. I was wondering if you guys are all prepared and raring to go, or whether ur in the same position as me!!

In the exact same position here lol I havnt even ordered my pc yet or sent off my tuition fees form - but my dad said he'll just pay it all off at once when I get there...
Anyways I still need to get everything Getting nervious at times - but not enough to get me to go out and search + buy what I need yet...

At the moment Im trying to sort my finances out. I havent ordered my PC either.

Im also wondering what everyones views on books are? I phoned keele and the lady said they dont recomend buying any books before the course starts and that they will send a reading list before the start of the course. But I think that one or two books might be essential.

I have everything and more when it comes to cutlery etc! If anyone needs a blender then I have one!!
The tuition fees form is confusing me though. I've got a loan for mine so do I still fill in the form etc.
Also, what else do I have to? That photo thing, the next of kin thing, the room key deposit...? Do we have to do a direct debit for accomodation now?
Still haven't got my accommodation btw!!

Also Robokop - im not buying any books till a few weeks into the course at the latest as by then I will hopefully have a good idea what to get also the internet itself should help me out on whatever really
Also have any of you tried that PBL example they handed out at the visit day for people with offers? I read it and had no idea may check on it anyways for just the sake of it

its about a 45 year old Mrs Collard's pain in the gut (a severe abdominal colicky pain) where she is married and has 5 kids (youngest = 10). Do any of you medics remember doing this sample PBL?
