Admisions to undergrad as postgrad help!!

Does anyone know any where in Ireland pref. (or the UK) that allows you to enter the undergrad degree in Medicine as a Mature student, reason being I did biochemistry and only got a 2.2, there for I don't qualify for graduate entry medicine (and so no point doing GAMSAT?) and at 26 trying to avoid going back to school again! I know there has to be a way in that takes my degree into account but all the colleges are coming back saying no, can anyone please help, prepared to do anything at this stage!

Any advise would be greatly appreciated

This is probably too late but Kings had in their prospectus that they'll accept a 2:2 with a Masters (at least a merit).
If you have loads of work experience then you should have no problems getting into these colleges.
Note: Kings require you to sit the UKCAT though.

    All the best xxx

RCSI have a small number of places for graduates on their 5 year course. You should contact the Admissions Office (admissions@rcsi.ie) for further details.

NUI, Galway offer 2 places a year to mature students but they are for 'healthcare professionals'. So depending on what you have been working at since college you may be eligible...eg. if you did a PhD or medical research. That said, if there are nurses, physios etc applying, they'd be more likely to get the place.
