The International Baccalaureate Programme is a high school program, and is recognized world wide.
I can give you a run down on how the points are awarded.
One takes 6 courses, each is marked out of 7.
There are 3 bonus marks which can be award equating, thus the highest mark is 45.
IB marks are scaled differently in any given area. But in BC:
7=96-100%
6=90-95
5-86-89
4=73-85
3=50-72
2=fail
1=....really?
If you want to convert your marks to a IB scale for what ever reason, you can if you want. But know that IB is criterion based, therefore getting a 7 doesn't necessarily mean scoring 97/100 on a test. With that being said, you cannot really convert marks to the IB scoring system.2010 Application
