    Missed deadline 15th October

    Hi.

I'm currently a graduate of an economic university but I was very seriously considering to apply for Medical School in UK at HYMS.

I dont know why I thought the registration starts in february but today for my surprise, shock and dissapoiment I found out I was supposed to register for UCAS in October.

Do I still stand a chance to be able to register for 2010 or it is way too late? I do not live currently in the UK.

Any advice, thoughts or anything regarding this topic ?

Thank you for taking your time to reply.

It's too late for 2010 entry. UK universities like all other universities are very strict about deadlines. You will have to wait for 2011 entry.
2010 Medicine (in order of preference)

    Oxford GEP (REJECTED)
    Imperial GEP (CONDITIONAL OFFER)
    Warwick GEP (REJECTED)
    Southampton GEP (Acknowledged)

Unfortunately, there is no way your application will be considered now as applications closed in October. Your best bet is to apply for 2011 entry.

    Good luck

Check the St. Andrew's Bute School of Medicine website. It appears they will consider North American applicants until the spring. In this case I think you apply directly to them, rather than through UCAS, and obviously the sooner you apply the better. Check the website.

Did you call St. Andrews or Penninsula?? If so, were you able to apply??
