    Ah don't worry too much about the physics, as long as you have the bio chem and maths it should be fine, but also don't resit a subject more then once and don't resit to many either.

    For national students, having a full A-level is regarded more highly then an AS (half an A-level) since they don't actually need to look at your predicted grades for those subjects and they know you actually have the knowledge. So yes you would be ahead of the competition if you did.

    That's one thing I like that they do over here in high school that they don't do back in England, required community work.... sigh but make sure you do some voluntary work roughly once a week for a good year or so to show commitment and the fact that you do show up every time for volunteering. Also anything else that will show that you have a personality and don't just study all the time and doing the odd bit of work experience.

    If i did physics 11, is it a must to put it on the transcript, and how would they know if i resit a course?

    hey im in the same boat as you, im in grade 11 and applying for med school...for me i had trouble in bio, and currently going to resit it this summer. They will know you resit it because it'll show both marks on your transcript
