PLEASE HELP!! life messed up!
Hi,
My life is currently a MESS!!
i just finished my IB exams and got 37, but the issue is that UK med schools require 38, so i'm repeating a few of my subjects, and will be doing my exams again in november this year.
i applied last year for this year's intake but was rejected since i was underage. Now i'm the correct age, and so I will be applying again this september. so I was wondering since i have my ib results already, I'll have to put it as part of my application, but I will also put the subjects im retaking as "pending". My problem is, since I have ib results already, will i be penalized?
Thank you so much.
Any advice is welcome.2009 med applicant:

Hmm as far as i know , the UCAS from itself said to indicate your current score even if you are retaking that exam. So i would advice you to check the rules and make a choice then.

Can Anyone Plz Help Me Out!!!!!
Hi Viewers
I had recently got admission in 1st year of Medical Microbiology and Immunology in 2009 batch and if I score well then I can get admission in Undergraduate MBBS programme next year but the problem is as I am a international student in UK from India over here, so its not possible for me to pay 25000 pounds approx per year for six years.
Therefore I would be highly obliged if anyone can find me any sort of sponsorship programme as soon as possible because the University is already started and I need to pay the fees as quickly as possible so that I can easily carry out with my ambition without any hassle.
Hope to hear from you all soon.
With Regards

Sharmi:
1) The undergraduate medical course at Bristol is titled MBChB and not MBBS(there's no difference really but did they mention MBBS in your letter?)
2)Transfers from other courses are rare, I am yet to meet one so I'd imagine you'd have to score extremely well to be eligible for that.
3) The tuition fees vary according to which year you're in and it'll by no way cost you 25k GBP for each pre-clinical year.
4) The University has very limited number of scholarships for international students but even the best scholarship gives you only 1000GBP per year and that is apparently insufficient to cover your tuition fees. There are also awards with cash prizes to be won but the amount of cash you get will never be enough for your tuition fees.
Lastly, you will be required to demonstrate the ability to support your own studies(which really means you will need to show you HAVE the money to pay for everything)in order to be given a UK visa. Without this it's unlikely your visa application will be approved.
Regards
