It is a great pleasure for us to invite you again to Lodz to attend 2nd International Conference of Medical Students and Junior Doctors on Family Medicine, which will be held from 9 to 10 May 2008. We are proud to announce that this Conference organised by the First Department of Family Medicine, Medical University of Lodz and the Student Scientific Organisation of the First Department of Family Medicine, Medical University of Lodz is received the highest auspices of Prof. Andrzej LEWINSKI, Rector of the Medical University of Lodz, Dr. Konstanty RADZIWILL, President of the Polish Medical Chamber, Prof. Chris van WEEL, President of WONCA, and Polish Society of Family Medicine.
The ambitious aim of the Conference is to encourage junior doctors and medical students from all over the world to conduct scientific research in the field of Family Medicine and share its results with peers. We hope that this Conference will be an excellent platform for such activities. The well-packed program of the Conference will hold both keynote lectures by global opinion leaders, as well as scientific sessions. One of the sessions will be organised by Vasco da Gama Movement, the international organisation of young trainees in Family Medicine. We have prepared attractive prizes for best presenters, as well as a memorable social programme to attract the delegates to come.
This conference is a unique event in a global scale. Our 1st Conference, which took place in 2007, was a great success. A number of participants from different countries had come and presented the results of their research. Therefore, we hope that 2nd Conference will be even more interesting event.
