WANna KNOW..
dude i do not know if you're an international student but i just got 2 know yesterday abt sum new rule administered by the new government regarding international students not being allowed to complete their postgraduate studies in UK. This rule evn applies to students completing their MBchB degree in UK. It seems that the last 2 yrs of the postgraduate degree will not be offered by the university; rather it is recommmend by the university to be completed in the student's respective country. I really wanted more info & verification on this and how does it really affect international students???

from what i understand....
you are allowed to stay for undergrad (obviously) and 2 years of foundation training. Residency training is essentially your "postgrad" for medicine. However, once your foundation training is done, the new rules state that you need to move over to a work permit system to do ur specialty training in the UK... I understand this is a bit tougher to get, but im not 100% sure on this, so if someone wants to elaborate...
