Ucas form

I'm having major promlems with my Ucas form, I'm currently doing "swedish" resits and I don't know how to write my qualifications down in the ucas form. I've contacted the british council in sweden but they're not replying :S

Should I write my new results or the old ones? and what about the exams that I will take.. really confusing !

And by the way, am I supposed to send in my original grade transcript later? or should I take them with me on the interview? how does it work?

I hope someone is able to answer my questions as I'm starting to freak out :P

Heya again Nolita!

In my opinion they are evil and just trying to make people's lives difficult. Speaking from my own experience.

Have you got your new grades already? Or only predicted grades for the resits? If you do have the new (official) grades i'd put them down instead of your old ones, although that might be seen as cheating by some people... *shrugs*

There should be two sections to the academic part of the UCAS form, one for qualifications taken, the other for qualifications to be taken. The exams that you are going to be taking go in the lower section. You'll notice that you can't put any predicted grades in that section, and these need to be written in the Reference.

I'm not sure if all unis are the same, but the ones I applied to didn't ask me to bring any certifictates to the interview. In fact, Newcastle still hasn't asked to see proof of my grades and i've already started... so I am a bit confused on this issue.
If they do want you to bring your grade transcripts to interview they would tell you this in the letter when you are offered an interview. You really don't need to worry about this at the moment.

Best of luck!

Thanks for your reply I feel much better now, I've already sent my application though :S I'm also afraid that they will think that I'm trying to cheat, but on the other hand, since there aren't any instructions on how to do this stuff for international applicants then thats the outcome..

I think I've filled my application out a bit wrong, cause I don't have any tutor to predict my resits, hmm, so I kind of predicted them myself...:S (not in the reference, but in the application, I'm taking them in october).

But I can't change anything now, and I'll just blame it all on the Swedish british council for not providing me with information :P

EU students!!

I'm in deep trouble now, because I've just realised that I have to make a good point in the PS that I wan't to stay in England, not just study there and go back to Sweden!

I'm so stupid, I didn't write anything like that, so I just want to hear from other EU-students, did you write why you wan't to study in the UK? is there anyone who's in medschool who didn't indicate that they wan't to live in the UK?

I hope someone knows what I'm talking about :S

You really don't need to at all!
No one I spoke to did. and I certainly didn't and I got 4 offers so don't panic at all.

Emilia.
