Smile Any PBL medical school ? a Saudi girl needs your help:)

Hello everybody !

My name is Duaa, a 2nd year medical student at the Arabian Gulf University in the kingdom if Bahrain, I'm a Saudi girl who is given a scholarship and sent to AGU in Bahrain to study medicine.

Everything here is cool ,

I used to live in the US, in Nebraska exactly ...

the problem is that I may go and live again there or in the UK .

I went to the Saudi embassy to speak to the educational adviser & check if I can be given a scholarship and carry on studying in the UK.. they told me it's ok .. but I have to tell them which univ I want to go to ... which SHOULD have the same program which is Problem based learning...

So, plz if you know any medical school which has PBL ,, tell me ..
and if there's any in Scotland I'll be more than happy !
and thx =)

sorry for talkin a lot :$

wish ya all the best in ur studies and have a good night

Duaa

Well the two main ones that I know are Manchester University, Liverpool Univerisity and Glasgow University (Scotland hehe ) These are the only ones that I know are fully PBL but I think almost all unis have a pinch of PBL in the course some way or another...hope this helps and I hope this is right! hehe take care and all the best!

I'm a saudi medical student at King's College London (Uni of London) and we do Problem Based Learning from the first year. I know international students are happily accepted but I dont know of tranfers. Also University College London (Uni of London) do PBL. If you need any help I'm happy to try and help.

Keele is very very very PBL based. If you would like to ring them here is their number:

+441782583937

Or visit www.keele.ac.uk, or email medicine@keele.ac.uk.

Best of luck, Craig

Duaa,
Hope you're settled at a new med school. Anywhere is better than agu.
