A101 Applicants 2012
I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread for the 2012 cycle so we can keep updated with the progress of applications!
I'm currently considering applying to Imperial but I am concerned with my 650 in QR. Last year they did not interview anybody with below 640 in any subtest... will I be sailing to close to the wind?Medicine 2012: University of Manchester

Hey ob[x]

Hopefully I'll be applying to Imperial too. I say hopefully because I haven't taken the UKCAT yet :P
Imperial heavily rely on the UKCAT and they list the applicants accordingly. Therefore, it might be likely that your overall UKCAT score is a tad low.
Good luck nevertheless

i did my ukcat today, i got 640, 610, 650, 650. As imperial ask for scores in the mid 600's do u think my ukcat would be adequate for 2012 entry?

Unfortunately you're QR might hold you back. I know they're strict on BMAT cutoffs so I'm guessing they'd be the same with graduates and the UKCAT. Maybe try the BMAT and apply for A100 entry?
Henry Swanson's my name, and the BMAT's not quite my game.

Hi, I am 30, Does Imperial discriminate or consider your age regarding admission? Will older applicant be at a disadvantage?
