    Need your advice...

Hey everyone! I need your advice for smth: i have a conditional offer from Imperial which is my first choice, and i have an upcoming interview at Warwick. My question is, should I actually go to the Warwick interview? Or can I just have 1 choice on my UCAS form? Thanks and Im sorry this may be a silly question, i just need some guidance!

you should probably go to the warwick one just in case. It's better to have an insurance offer just in case you don't get what you need for the imperial offer.

Assuming that if you received an offer from Warwick you would definitely turn it down in preference to Imperial, then I wouldn't attend the Warwick interview. There's no point in wasting their time and yours, and you could give up the spot to another applicant on the waiting list. Warwick's offer will be conditional on obtaining a 2:1 too (as with pretty much every med school), so for us grad applicants there's no advantage in holding an insurance offer.

I thought this through before the Imperial outcome and decided that I wouldn't attend any of my other interviews if I received an offer, although it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped! :P

Thank you both for your advice, but as Imperial is definitely my first choice, I think I will not attend the Warwick interview, especially as I know there are several individuals on the waiting lists who deserve the opportunity of an interview. Since the offer would be a 2:1 as well, it would indeed make no difference because if I fail to make the grades, I will lose the chance to study Medicine in both Universities!
