I have an interview, my first one, I'm pretty nervous.
Has anyone else already had one? What kinda questions do they ask?
I expect a lot of science based questions.

Yup got an interview coming up on wednesday as well! Really nervous, but it's such a relief to get an interview, as I got rejected without interview last year.

At the poster above, it's not going to be a scientific interview at all. It mainly focuses on you as a person. And it seems post-interview chances are pretty good- 500 offers out of the 650 people to be interviewed! Fingers crossed

wednesday? wow thats close! Mine isn't untill the start of feb thankfully, lets me get exams out the way and prepare somewhat. Good luck sanjetti!
You'll have to let us know how it goes They tell you if you have an offer within 2 weeks don't they.

They give about 500 offers but expect only 286 to get in. Do that many people really not get the grades? My friend got an imperial engineering offer of A*A*A. Wonder if us medics will need A*'s too.

    And my bmat was 6.7, 5.1, 7.5
    I've heard the cut off is 4.5, 4.5, 7.5

i've heard they are more keen on personal statement and current affairs....i think science questions are more oxbridge style!

I think the offers are still AAA, or AAAC for four A levels. The questions vary from about yourself and your PS, to Imperial, and the odd ethics Q stuck in at the end somewhere.

Congratulations on your interview! when is it?
I have heard of someone who was offered A*AA for medicine :s but I'm hoping its not typical. Maybe if you are predicted to get one, they expect it ? Im sort of worried about how 500 offers become half the number of entrants :S

To answer the questions on this thread, bear in mind that although some people will inevitably miss the grades, the main reason for over-offering is because many will firm other universities (oxbridge etc.)
