Exactly, this is true to the extent that many people with strong interview performances will recieve an unconditional offer after results-day despite missing their grades.

But the standard of entrant is increasing exponentially, and with the new A*AA requirement it may be to the point that the socially adept but academically merely above average students slowly disappear - so dont bank on this if you feel you underachieve in your exams.

When did they change the entry requirements?

And also, do they ask you questions about your BMAT essay?

They haven't changed the entry requirements, it's still AAA according to the prospectus, but realistically they could use the A* grades in their offers. They have for their engineering course.

I had my interview last week and they didn't ask about my BMAT essay, although I think they have it in front of them, so they could do.

    Thanks for that
From TSR, they seem to think they don't ask about the essay so that left me a bit confused :s
And also, the recent reports in the paper suggest that its going to be harder to get into any university this year, so maybe the likelyhood of an A* condition will be be greater :s

The email says 2 weeks, and talking to others, that seems about right

Does anyone know when IC gives out AAAC or AAAB offers, do they require chemistry or biology to be at A grade?
