thankyou!
Well guys it was gruelling as it was quick fire with only being 20mins. I would say don't bother preparing answers cos they go out your head straight away. Most questions were about my personality, team skills and extracurricular stuff. There's a question sheet as well with either a table or diagram on to interpret and then some ethical questions. So you can't really rpepare. Sorry for being so unhelpful!
Good luck to the othersUKCAT - 727.5

Hi Smeane,
Interview wasn't fantastic, but not a complete disaster either.
I can't remember the exact questions I was asked (it's all a bit of a blur really) but they were pretty much based around why I wanted to do medicine and why at Imperial, so make sure you have these straight before you go. Other questions were on my PS and then of course I had the academic question. Like Philippa said, don't bother rehearsing answers- you will forget them and might sound over prepared.
The day was pretty relaxed really. You just hang out in a room of the SU until the interview, which takes place in a small room with 3/4 people in. Don't worry about it, it's not as daunting as you think. I know it's not really helpful, but just try to relax and be yourself! GOOD LUCK!UCAS 2010:

Hey Mufasa
I am waiting to hear if I got an interview for the GEP Imperial.
I am on a gap year abroad, so I would have thought they would let me know now rather than later.
Who knows how they decide. Your UKCAT scores seem good what was your average? 700?
Maybe its your background or work experience?2010 Entry Sent 15th Sept 2009

done mine today. not an excellent performance but I would say this was the best I could possibly produce with an interview panel as such.
P.S. they decide offer/waiting/reject after the interviews. I saw the sheet
not mine though. confirmed that they do it on rolling basis.

Hey Zhang,
What do you mean with an interview panel as such? And do they decide offer/waiting/reject immediately after the interview or discuss all candidates together after the Nov/Dec interviews?
It's funny that you saw a sheet- I also did, although only at a glance, and I think it was mine :s I saw a few numbers written on there, but impossible to get anything from that as I have no idea what they were marking out of. I wonder whether the decision goes with the majority of the panel, or whether the chair has more say?UCAS 2010:
