Yay, Hany! Good luck!
PK did you have your internet connection with the damovoconnect people? It seems like a bit of a bargain, only £35 for an unmetered high-speed connection for all 3 terms, is there a catch!?
Ooh, also, in Beit do they have freezers?!?!?!
Sorry for being extremely random...

hi hany,

as bullet points

- be confident, but not arrogant
- complile a list of past questions (from forums/books etc) & be prepared for them
- know your current affairs (esp medical ones - new research & medical politics e.g. foundation hospitals) and have opinions on them (be open minded though)
- be prepared to talk about your work experience
- have an area of interest that you can talk about if asked (i used a new scientist article)
- dress smartly, be friendly!
- make sure you listen to their questions carefully (let them finish)

that's all i can think of right now. good luck. have u already got an interview date? my lil bro is applying 2 imperial but he hasn't heard from them yet.

laters

ps. zoe the 35 internet thing is really good most ppl who hav computers get it, its really fast as well. also they do hav freezers in the kitchens in beit

thanks Imperialgimp!
oh, and i can't think of anything to add to the interview tips...
the interviewers were by far the nicest i had (manchester were horrible; newcastle, i thought they were nice, they even told me it was a "pleasure to interview" me and then went on to reject me (after 3 months of waiting for the result!) - meanies!)
oh and you may or may not know that all the interviewees on the day of your interview will be given a question on a slip of paper about an hour before the interviewing starts which you will get asked at some point during the interview - it could be on anything so you can't really prepare for it, but it's usually some sort of moral/social type thing (on my day it was about the "inequalities of health"), i just thought you should be aware!

Thats right - there are freezers in Beit. Pretty big ones too! You each get a lockable 'basket type thing' so noone can knick ur stuff .

The bad thing about the internet is that they now don't let anyone use Kazaa . But its very quick .
