PotMed Workshop 2008 @ Imperial College

PotMed 2008 is a workshop designed to guide and advise potential medical students through the rigorous process of applying to medical school. Running for 2 years now, over120+ eager students attended the event last year and were provided some much needed insight into the daunting world of medical school applications. 14 doctors and more than 40 of Imperial's own medical students as well as medical students from across the London medical schools participated and made it a hugely successful and enjoyable day.

This year PotMed is even bigger and better! On the day you will:

• hear great speeches from top researchers as well as experienced medical professionals
• receive guidance on your medical school application
• hear advice from Imperial's medical students
• listen to interview experiences from medical students from across London
• gain tips on communication skills

Mock Interview
Finally you will be able to test your interview skills by undertaking a mock interview with a panel consisting of doctors and medical students. You will receive immediate feedback on your performance as well as on areas of improvement.

Personal Statement
You will also be able to receive tips and advice on your personal statement at any time before PotMed through direct email contact with experienced medical students at Imperial as well as on the day

How much are you charging?

Will it be segregated?

When I was at Imperial the muslim society was pretty extreme, they did allow women and men to mix at any of their events.

So the only groups involved in this are the ISCM Muslim medics? No involvement from ANY other group?

Will there be involvement from groups linking to the Islamic Society of Britain or Young Muslims UK?
