JDR06, this is not about muslims, and I am not picking a fight. I just remember from my time at Imperial that a lot of these Islamic groups set up societies with innocent sounding names and use them to preach their views. For instance at Imperial there was a society setup called millennium society, that was a front for an Islamic group called Hizbu ut Tahrir. They set up lectures on innocent sounding subjects, then invited their own speakers.
There is no evidence that this is the case here, but it is prudent to ask questions. As I have said before one of the former leaders of the Islamic society of Imperial, Babar Ahmed, is currently awaiting extradition to America accused of terrorism.
