How do imperial reply after interview?

Just wanted to ask you guys those who got offers, how did you hear? Imperial say they could reply by letter, email or by UCAS track but does which way you hear depend on what the outcome of your application is??
I think those with offers hear by track, those with waiting lists hear by letter and those with rejections after interview hear by email. Is this right?

i don't know about medicine, but for biomed, i just got it through UCAS track, might be a similar affair with medicine one would assume

yea, waiting list = letter

yup got it on track after a week (quick for my batch of interviewees)
then follow up letter, etc.
