rejections!!! feedback? waiting list?

wellllll i just thort id start this thread as there must be some other people who have been rejected, and i was feeling abit lonely with all the offerrrr threads going on.

also i have some questions......

1) do imperial ever provide proper feedback? (from after intvy.) b/c i emailed asking for feedback but all they replied was a load of "tough decisions have to be made", high competition for places bla bla bla (they also state "only 650 applicants are selected for interview. All applicants are of a very high standard but only half of those interviewed can be offered a place."........ but thats a loada crap rite us on here it says 500 offers are made :S)

so yea... basically i was wondering if i prodded 'em somemore, would i get some actual constructive feedback???

2) also....... any you guys been put on the "waiting list"???

replies would be appreciated x

i'm on the waiting list for the GEP... reckon chances of getting a place from it are pretty slim though, anyone heard of anyone?! x

Grindlo, there will be approx 300 places on the course so, although 500 offers are made, a fair number will accept offers from elsewhere (eg. Oxbridge) and, sadly, quite a few will not get their required grades.

For those of you on the waiting list, concentrate on getting your grades - there is a reasonable chance that come the end of August, once offers have been confirmed or otherwise, some of you who have not taken up places elsewhere will be plucked delightedly from the waiting list.
