But I got an offer. :P Maybe I wasn't obvious enough.

But seriously, I don't see why people think they would be so worried about giving places to Oxbridge accepts. I mean, if you're a good candidate then you're a good candidate. They know not everyone is going to accept - in fact they rely on that fact - and it would be silly to reject good applicants on the 'off chance' that they might turn them down.

yeh i kinda said that in reply, and to do that you have to talk about imperial itself
like i said research etc. looked up Kennedy Institute of RA (my topic on PS), local hospitals, course structure, etc.

gotta agree with Tyraell on this one...

i dont reckon theyd wanna "sniff out" the oxbridge-ers really cus well they offer waaaaay more than they have places, dont they? so like.. theyre expecting like 200 people to either pick somewhere else or not get their grades. x

well i spose so, but remember they get fined if they don't have all their places filled, so don't want too many obvious oxbridgers!
