Sorry to hear bout your rejection, medhopeful. Don't feel too down-hearted - Re the international applicant to place ratio - they could have interviewed more than ~ 20 for the international places - at my interview, I met about 9 other applicants and 5 of them were international (three from the states, and a girl from canada, and one from jordan). Equally, at some universities (such as Oxford) while they specify their maximum number of international places for any course for any year, they never feel obliged to accept up to that maximum number of internationals if they don't want to, so maybe Imperial are doing something like that with their places as well. All the best.

Congrats! What were your stats if you don't mind me asking. Also, why is it conditional?

For what it's worth, I was rejected with a 3.8 GPA and only a 26XX UKCAT (that includes all sections). Tons of work and volunteer experience.

Congrats RRS13 - did you hear by email or snailmail or track? I was thinking we'd hear sometime this week, so trying to figure out whether stalking my postman (who seems confused enough by life as it is) would be worthwhile...

Jlin84:
Looks to me like you are in a somewhat atypical situation....did you even interview for Imperial or did you just get the acceptance?? Congrats anyway on getting in for the second time!

Yeah, I had to interview for Imperial again cause my first acceptance was for the 6 year program, and this time round I am applying for the GEP. They actually knew that they made me an offer 3 years ago, but I have no idea if that influenced their decision in any way.
